Explore the emergency risks identified for your area. Community Risk Registers are published by Local Resilience Forums across England and Wales, but their information is spread across separate documents and websites. This explorer aims to bring those registers together in one place, making the published risks easier to find, understand and explore.
Select an area on the map or select an area by name to view available assessments, explore published ratings and access the original register. Coverage and scoring detail vary between regions; these are regional assessments, not predictions for individual properties. National risk matches are provisional and can be reviewed in the downloadable crosswalk.

Explore published risks
Risks appear in descending order on the single Climate Resilient UK 1–5 scale. Click a row to see how its rank was derived. Unranked means no usable individual rating has been transcribed; the source may contain further detail.
Each marker sits on its published likelihood and impact coordinates. A number inside a marker means several risks share the same scores. Click a marker to see their names.

How the single Climate Resilient UK ranking works
Every risk is shown using one consistent 1–5 navigation rank (5 = highest). Where an LRF publishes a categorical overall rating, we map it to 1–5: Very Low = 1, Low = 2, Medium = 3, High = 4, Very High = 5. Where only likelihood and impact (each 1–5) are published, we use likelihood × impact and map its 1–25 result into five bands: 1–5 → 1, 6–10 → 2, 11–15 → 3, 16–20 → 4, 21–25 → 5. Risks in the same band may be listed in order of their underlying product and then likelihood. Where only a labelled graphical 1–5 position is provided (Sussex), Climate Resilient UK reads the approximate position and rounds it to the nearest category, clearly marked as an interpretation on clicking the risk.
Click any risk to see which method was used and the supporting source information. Equal ranks are genuinely equal ranks, not an implied exact order. Unranked means the document provides insufficient ranking information. These harmonised ranks are not official LRF scores, nor estimates of personal risk. Documents use different scenarios, scales and publication methods, so cross-region comparisons require caution.
This tool displays regional emergency assessments, not property-level risks. The level of published detail varies across LRFs. Some have full tables, some only headline scores, and some no numerical ratings. Dot positions reflect the published ordinal scores where available; registers differ in scope and methods.
Coverage note: All 42 LRF areas now have at least a published risk source or summary represented. Some areas show only selected headline topics, while others have detailed scored risk lists. The map legend distinguishes detailed records from summary or partial coverage. The Wiltshire & Swindon full register remains unverified; the four topics there are from an official resilience summary. This is not yet a complete transcription of every register.
